First introduced in 1944, The Center helped rewrite what a canvas sneaker could be. Before then, most canvas sneakers were flimsy. We changed that. Thanks to our roots in high-performance rubber tire manufacturing and the invention of the Posture Foundation insole, we built a canvas sneaker with staying power.
